I’m a girl. I love pink, sparkle, cocktails dresses and glittery high heels. I honestly think this desire is built in us from conception. We gravitate to flashy jewelry, shiny shoes and girly bells and whistles.

But what is awesome is – God has made us to shine! So, it’s very cool that we gravitate to the shiny. His goodness sparkles like a brilliant star in the jet black night.

I love this verse in Romans – “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here. So let us put aside the deeds of darkness and put on the armor of light.” {Romans 13:12}

We are dressed in the beautiful illuminated armour of Christ! No wonder we are drawn to glitter. Embrace the sparkle – you were made to shine.
